For projects of this scale they should've just gone to platforms like kickstarter. The problem with Patreon as a longer-term fund-as-you-develop platform is that none of the parties gets any guarantee.

Patreon is meant for regular content delivery like podcasts, video clips or illustrations. If your game is not able to deliver substantial updates at least on a quarterly basis then Patreon is a really bad idea for raising funds.

It has some history but the dev is back onto it and released an update in Dec.

ok so here's the history.

the dev had a... rather unfriendly conversation with their player base on F95 and the game was considered terminated after the dev clearly stated they would discontinue.

The game had little to no significant update since last year and the dev posted more ads than actual work on patreon.

I'm not saying there's no chance the game will come back alive - since the main dispute was still about money - but I suggest don't put too much faith in it and also in the dev's attitude.

There's fairly adequate bug-free content to keep you playing for 5-7 hours (depending on whether you care about the plot) but expect no ending because this is confirmed an abandoned work on F95.

You can't publish your game on steam if you make scenes with any Illusion games. You're technically not meant to use the contents commercially due to licensing/copyright stuff but I don't think Illusion ever cared about it (and I don't think they ever disallow it).

If you feel it's a concern, consider daz3d or maya.

I think it's because the game's made with Honey Select 2 and Illusion doesn't particularly allow people to use the contents commercially.

I don't think Illusion has ever filed a case (in fact I don't even think they explicitly state anywhere that they don't allow it) but the possiblity alone will make steam reject any VNs that are made with Illusion games.

You can unlock all scenes in one playthrough (at least until 0.5). For the main girls you must not have them greyed out (by making a wrong choice  etc) otherwise you can't enter their romantic paths anymore.

I think the one that's easily missed out is when you first log in to Eternum and Annie is away, you can choose to hang around to unlock a scene. The rest are all pretty obvious when they come.
