The game is incredible! I had a lot of fun

something I would like to point out is the fact that you are able to attack the enemy through the wall tho

I'm not sure if this is a souls game thing, but if not, it's important for you to know

The striking through walls is mostly on the fault of RPG maker or the weapon distance hit box.  I'm not exactly sure how to fix that.  I am glad you enjoyed what I have made so far. Hopefully I can finish this project sometime this year.

The game keeps crashing during the intro sequence (ie. right after I chose my class and decide to venture through the fog) =\. I lost hope on the fourth time I tried to run the game and got the same result. That's quite saddening as I had the chance to have a look at the game's directory and watched that very intro movie, the premise is enticing!

Is there any way to generate some kind of crash report I can forward to you so that you can get an idea of what's happening?

btw the leftmost class to the left is mentioned as "Palladin" with two Ls... is that a typo?

Developer

The crashing issue is something I'm not sure about.  seems like everyone else doesn't have the same issue. As for the "palladin" yes that's a typo.

Fun demake of the Souls idea, limited by the confines of a tile-based RPG. I do think that tile-based movement feels a little disconnected from the precise positioning and agility core to the Souls games, and the attacking feels similarly rigid. Not sure if those are limitations of the engine you've used, or something you could look at redesigning?

It is sadly a limitation of RPG Maker, but can be tweaked. I can try to adjust the weapon ranges and possibly implement 8 directional movement. The main combat is more focused towards A Link to the Past's style more than dark souls because of those system limitations and my own.  I am very appreciative of the feedback.   :)
