Hey c4ph4lor,
Thanks for your kind words and for enjoying the assets! I'm glad you're finding them useful.
Regarding the Unity packages, as you already know, I plan to include them as an extra addition to the Itch.io asset packs in the future. However, to maintain the standards of the collection and to avoid confusion, I don't want to add the existing Unity packages to the Itch.io asset packs until I've had the chance to update the entire collection. The reason being, I don't want to give new Minifantasy asset users the false perception that all the packs in the collection already include Unity files. This could lead to a bad user experience if someone downloads a free pack like Dungeon or Forgotten Plains, sees that it has Unity files, and then decides to purchase the complete bundle only to discover that many packs don't include yet the Unity versions.
I apologize for the delay in updating the collection as it is already quite large and it is taking some time to catch up. But rest assured that there is someone actively working on it, and we're making steady progress.
For now, the only way to get early access to the Unity packages is to be a part of the Minifantasy Patreon Community. As a perk for Patrons (along with other awesome perks, like exclusive add-ons and creatures for Minifantasy), we're publishing the Unity packages in a dedicated channel on the Minifantasy Discord, so Patrons can access them before they're released on Itch.io. So far, the following packs are available:
- Minifantasy Creatures
- Minifantasy Farms
- Minifantasy Towns I
- Minifantasy Desolate Desert
- Minifantasy Deep Caves
- Minifantasy Forgotten Plains
- Minifantasy Dungeon
- Minifantasy Icy Wilderness
And we're currently actively working on "Crafting and Professions I" and "Silent Swamp."
The unity packages include things like:
- Pre-cut sprites and tiles
- Tile Palettes
- Rule Tiles
- Prefabs
- Prefab scripts that allow you to change sprites on similar items like trees/rocks / dead plant vs alive plant
- Unity Scenes that demo the contents of the mockup images you see on itch.io
- Animations
- Animation Controllers (setup for demo, not practical use)
We're making steady progress towards our goal, and I appreciate your understanding and patience. Let me know if you have any other questions!
