This was a lot of fun! I like the variety of challenges getting to the syringes. I kept missing the entrance to the area in order to access the last one.  Remembered at the end about the different endings.  Very clever! Took a moment to realize how the mouse aim worked only because it's a bit different using both mouse and WASD for game play in a top down 2D game like this.  Makes it easier than if the gun firing in only a vertical and horizontal cross shape from the character were allowed. That would motivate certain movements to use the gun which would raise the difficulty a little. Gameplay was really smooth.  Last round of zombies surprised me.   You should check out the Super Nintendo game "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" made in 1993.  Very similar concept but with the 16 bit capabilities it really ramps up the possibilities with weapons, movement, gameplay, enemies, and objective.  Very cool!
