do i have to buy version 0.15a if i already bought 0.10c for 10$ before 0.15a was released? cause i can only download 0.10c and earlier even though it says i already bought the game

I have the same question/issue. All the .15 listings aren't links and the email notification doesn't have any .15 links to download the new version. no update listed in the purchased page either.

If you spent $10 - you will receive a new version on the day of its release.

If you spent $5 - you will receive a new version in 1-2 weeks after the release.

If you spent 1$ - you will receive the penultimate version of the game as soon as a new version is released.

So insanely frustrating that I cant just pay 5$ extra to unlock the new update right away since I bought the FULL GAME on discount... I should be treated the same as someone who bought the game for 10$ since a discount shouldn't mean lesser privileges.

Im experiencing the same frustration. Bought the full game at 50% off and am getting stiffed on the new version. Getting treated like this is extremely frustrating...

I think that is a itch.io thing not the devs fault. I could be wrong but I think itch.io calculates it as donating instead of buying since it says $10 or more so to play it you have to donate $10 or more dollars. Again I could be wrong

This isn't 50% off. This is a different pricing threshold.

50% off would be getting the $10 access for $5. What you have done is added a $5 option, then deceived your customers by telling them it's 50% off. No it isn't. You're selling a different price threshold at 0% off.

Very underhanded way to go about selling your game.
