Interesting idea, good effort for a first game! I keep throwing myself on spikes, but it feels fair and I know it's me who messed up and not the mechanics. Could make for a fun mobile game!
Now it could use some music and sounds, and maybe some animation like the blob squishing a bit against the wall to make it feel squishy.
