I've given DoodleVerse a try, and have a few suggestions for improvement upon first playthrough.

  1. The menu system is missing a "Home" button on the Multiplayer screen, so restarting the game is required to return to the main menu.

  2. Upon first loading into the single player game (I didn't get a chance to test multiplayer), the powerups and enemy fall straight down and some console errors are shown. This is intended to be the powerups/enemies scattering throughout the procedurally generated environment, I believe? The player character can still move around after this happens.

  3. The player character controller currently allows the player to float in the air if they hold left/right while jumping into the walls. You likely need a check in the player controller script that would prevent this.

You are doing this solo? There is a lot of work done here already, and I like the direction! I'm happy to help out with development and/or lend any feedback. I'm a full time software engineer that does game dev passion projects on the side.

1. I CAN and will implement the home button, thanks I sum how missed that! 2. actually, at the moment, those prefabs were only meant to drop on top of the player so i could build as well as test my Inventory UI. they have no functions yet except use and drop, and this weekend the update for procedural prefab generation as well as uses on items such as but not limited to "PowerUp Carrots," "Carrot Weapons," and "Wings" will have full functionality! ATM I am homeless and only have wireless internet on weekends. However, I am working on this and i get on once or twice via hotspot a day, and upload builds on weekends! 3, Yes i have just came into this bug when creating the random dungeons in the next build. I will do my best to fix this glitch in the Player Movement this weekend as well. THANKS so much for your honest feedback, Cuz Lord knows i needed it. I'd love to talk about you helping with development, that is if you're interested! Let me know how I can contact you; I'll check back frequently for your response! MUCH APPRECIATED!

also, can you post a full screen screenshot of the title menu, controls menu and options menu for me when you can? This would be extremely helpful. And if we can separate the suggestions from bugs in the thread that would also be very helpful, i'm new to itch.io and just want everyone to have an easy time navigating DoodleVerse Community. Thanks so much!!

Sure thing - I can get to that shortly.
I also just reached out to you at doodlebunniesnft@outlook.com

gonna check right now!
