If you would like the long story about the Chronicles kitchen photo, here it is!
For this project, I want to be extremely careful to only use assets that are available in the creative commons. My criteria was to find a photo of a commercial kitchen that was:
- Visually acceptable
- Featured no people in the image
- Was in the creative commons
Meeting all three of these requirements was near-impossible. Commercial kitchen photos are hot commodities in the digital image space. I'm assuming it's because these photos are very desired for marketing.
So, I ended up digging through the image gallery of one of my old phones to find a photo of a kitchen I used to work in. Luckily enough for me, the phone powered on and the photo was still there! So that's what I'm using.
I'm really excited for that photo to be gone and give you all the proper Chronicles kitchen BG you deserve 😌
