I really like how the fire spreads from the point of contact. Also, the level design is totally awesome and I think it’s a work of art and shows that you have a deep understanding of game design. When I first played the game, I died a lot and noticed that there was a slight lag after each death. However, as I got better at the game, I died less and didn’t notice any lag

Appreciate the kind words! I had fun messing around with level layouts and playing with how the fireboxes could be used differently for different challenges. I probably need to revisit the boxes though from a performance perspective as they do seem to create lag for some players, probably because each one is constantly checking for other burning boxes that are touching.
I think I got quite far and would definitely continue to the end if it didn't stop working.. The destructible platforms are amazing to watch burn, and think you know this judging by the cool checkpoints. You have certainly shown how much fun your platforms can be. I believe you deserve to win this jam and wish you luck!
It's really tricky in some areas, but the music and overall ambiance makes it relaxing and easier to focus on! The chained reactions are also impressive!
It's really good, I love the fire mechanic, I will say it is very difficult, and it gets very laggy after a few deaths, but still very good!
