Why would there need to be involved personal reasons or going against the tide?

Most games rendered in hs1/2 (like mine) are harem, but if you look at the Daz games (those more lifelike looking) it's the opposite.  I think that as the creator I can portray my game any way I want if it fits my vision, without the need to change my idea just because "people are used to something else".

Thankfully, there seems to be new hs2 non-harem games being developed on the horizon, so this disparity should equalize a bit ^^

Sorry, this is the first game I've seen that was non-harem. I was simply curious, and those were the only two reasons I could think of at the time. Though I probably should have included "or another reason" in my comment.
