This seems like an interesting tool, thanks!

However I have a few questions I didn't see answered in the FAQ/Prereqs, if I may:
- do I still need "ADB wireless connection" shenanigans if I'm always playing with a link cable? am I forced to use wireless modes to play even PCVR games?
- what is actually being done to the headset, and can that lead to issues with Facebook/Meta ? (You have a pretty standard disclaimer but it is not really reassuring when we don't understand the specifics of what is being done)
- what's the uninstall process if someone wanted to undo all the changes, and is there anything?

Ça a l'air de vraiment être un outil intéressant (et puis cocorico!)

J'avais quand même quelques questions dont je n'ai pas vu les réponses dans la FAQ ou les prérequis:
- est-ce que toute la procédure autour de l'ADB wireless est nécessaire pour une personne jouant directement par USB (quest link) aux jeux PCVR?
- qu'est ce qui est fait sur le casque et surtout est-ce que ça peut mener à des répercussions auprès de Meta (compte perdu etc)?
- quelle est la procédure de désinstallation si pour une raison quelconque on souhaitait ne plus utiliser le produit?

Hi,

- ADB wireless connection is mandatory in order QGO to work, even if you are always connected with a USB cable. You need to wake up the ADB daemon on the Quest. In this case, QGO can use it and is autonomous. QGO is only for standalone games, not related to PCVR. - Nothing bad can happen to you concerning Meta/Facebook. This is an app like hundred of other app you can find in unknown sources. Not related to any account. You will not lost your account or something else.

The disclaimer is a basic protection to myself in case people do bad things with the app. But don't worry, we spend thousands of hours to create profiles on more than 360 games without blowing up, and I was even able to reach 53 degrees during the heat wave this summer without trouble and for many hours. So don't worry. The Quest has a security measure in case of overheating but it never happened to me, and I and my profile team never encountered issues making the profiles. So just in case, people is responsible for what it does. We test all our profiles before to send to the community and we test the profiles the community give to us. The fact is with QGO you can deal with battery saving or performance or images quality. You can do all what you want.

- The uninstallation process is the same as other apps : click on 3 dots, then uninstall. And the profiles are rollback when you return to your Oculus Home. And also, restarting the Quest revert all the ADB stuff.

So you can play safely with QGO. You can read comments or watch the youtube videos I linked in my Itch. People who have tried QGO can't live without it :-)
