That may be true, but I doubt that's the case for Patreon. If Patreon catches wind of this, there's a good chance they may actually act. Either way, I hope it's all just paranoia.
I've just seen many pokemon games get nuked in small communities that no one has ever heard of. The point is Nintendo has a dedicated team of people who watch and monitor this stuff. Chances are they already know of it and are just waiting for the right time to strike - as I've seen in the past. They waited until that game was about to have it's first release to shut the whole project down. It's actually pretty savage if you think about it. lol
