Oh, thank you for playing and the comment!! hahaha Well, the choice about the story not being about themselves but someone else was mostly an experiment about the format where we tried to bring a true crime podcast into the visual novel format without feeling like a podcast. The cafe is this fixed place where supernatural creatures will meet and tell stories under different circumstances and Asriel is "the host". We want to release different episodes with different stories but always connecting old and new characters and the stories showed. This time it was more like "prove to me that humans are worst than us" reason but of course this always can be implemented to feel less detached.
Oh and about the latte: Come forth, Asriel does the best ones and this is the first of many~ ^^'
