Quite understandable.
But maybe "Dog (or wolf) Girl Maya" could be an extra post-game mode. After you finish making the main game, of course.
As an unlockable, or as DLC.
And heck, at that point, you could go as crazy with it as you want. Anywhere from just a reskin, to completely new abilities with claws instead of a sword.
I dunno. Just something to think about. heh
