Hi Murder Mouse, thanks for playing our game, we appreciate the feedback! We agree that it's slow. We initially intended for the game to be a true idler, something that you checked in on every once in a while, and later on were able to set and forget. However we've discovered that there are some tweaks to implementation of that idea that could massively improve playability and enjoyment while still allowing the game to feel like an "idler."

Do you have any intention of creating a webpage for this game? Because I feel like this game could be much bigger and have more content. My dude, you're onto something here. This game is cute as fuck so I have to see it developed more.

Edit: Also, the quacking is just damn cute.

Edit #2: Oh and in the Challenge section, why not add different kinds of mini games for bonuses and/or ducks? Or bread? For example, the little game you have now is good, but also how about a little whack-a-duck (whack-a-mole?) game where we whack ducks that poke their little duck heads out of holes randomly and they quack when you hit them (ooooh, calling it Quack A Duck??)??

OR you could have ducks running across the top of the game screen window and as they run past, they drop loaves of bread and you have to catch them in a bread basket to get bonuses, and different ducks move at different speeds depending on their kind.

OR a duck moves around the little game window and randomly quacks its little mouth open, and you have to toss a loaf of bread into its little quacking mouth. You get a reward according to how many loaves you managed to toss in.

Or something like that. I'm sure there's different things you could put there that we can play once every hour (maybe a different game appears randomly once every hour?).

Thanks so much for playing our game, Murder Mouse! We've just released our most recent update, we hope you enjoy (you will probably want to start a new save for this one, it's a doozy)! We haven't thought far enough ahead to think past itch.io, but having a dedicated website isn't out of the realm of possibility. In terms of the hourly challenge, we agree! We want to get a single minigame to an enjoyable state, but are actively considering other games to add on a rotation, and we absolutely loved your Quack-A-Duck, and Loaf Catching game ideas!

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm, it really makes us so happy to know that there are players out there who enjoy what we've made.
