There's a lot to like here. (Am I mildly obsessed with getting to the end, even though I'm on about level 7 of Act One? Yes.) Among the things I love: health/coin/potion drops that don't disappear after a few seconds!
A couple of notes--I don't know if these are design decisions or bugs, but they've been noticeable:
- The range on the Shadow's sort is really short. That, combined with the fact that touching an armed enemy (even if you don't touch their sword) will damage you, has killed me more than once.
- There's a window after an enemy dies and drops its gold, but before it disappears; touching the enemy during that window will injure you even though it's "dead".
- I've had fireballs not go off (usually the third one, somehow? maybe when jumping?)--not every time, but it happens.
