Switching engines like that mid-jam is pretty tough to pull off. I'm sure it was a good learning experience however! Always good to get something in for the jam regardless. Hope you keep up the work!

Like other people here, would recommend trying something for another jam with super basic assets and scope and going from there.

Really unfortunate that the engine switch affected this game's development. Good idea to give the debug tools to allow players to see all that was made for the jam

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah that was really unfortunate, as suggested by the other comment I'm looking forward for the next project and fixed this one collision a little bit, it's not updated yet because well I can't(already past the late submission time).

A good start on the very basic stuff so good luck! Especially when working with new tech it's likely more ideal to really focus on one aspect of making a game per project.

For example this jam could just be creating a basic player controller for a platforming world and then don't worry about UI hardly at all and just load players right into that platformer from the beginning. Then next project can be something completely UI based to give you significant focused practice on getting UI controls to interface with each other.

Since I need to learn various aspects of gamedev your suggestion is very much appreciated.
