Arcadean, your game is wonderful for its category and I appreciate that you are concerned about continuous delivery, always providing us new content with new side girls and stuff, but... I feel like it is time to keep going with the main story? I mean, I suppose you still have plenty of acts planned to keep working on?

You're not the only one to feel that way, but it's not something Arc can really do.
Scheduling issues, he rushed the main story progression back then and now all he has left is side content.
Regarding act 2, of course.
The very next step in the main story progression is raiding the church, which will trigger the transition into act 3.
From what I've read, in act 3 "shit will go down", to the point that most if not all things you could do in act 2 won't be available anymore, at least not in the same way.
So Arc has to wrap up the side content in act 2 before moving on, because it wouldn't make much sense for him to keep working on act 2 content while the main story is in act 3.
Also it's just 3 acts.
After act 3 is just an epilogue.
Act 1 was the intro.
Act 2 is the buildup.
Act 3 is where it all goes down.

I'd love to get on to Act Three - I have so many plans for it! But unfortunately I underestimated both the amount and demand for side content in Act Two and so I have to get through all of that before I can move on to Act Three (which, yes, is where shit will go down, rendering the vast majority of Act Two content unavailable)
I am doing my best to get through it all as quickly as possible, though, even to the point of pushing some planned Act Two content into Act Three. I'm actually beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel!
