1.0.12.2 - Sound stuttering

I got an interesting issue, when connecting a Bluetooth Sound device to my PC.

Music /Sound is stuttering. That never happened anywhere else.

In the device manager the USB (dongle) is called CSR Bluetooth Radio.

The Soundcard is an onboard Realtek HD.

Back in the days we just enhanced the Audio Latency, don't know what to do in this case.

My specs.: Win 10, Nvidia GTX 980. With overlay options available.

Hey wolfengange, great to see you again. :)
I'm afraid I don't have the hardware to try to reproduce the issue, and it's the first time this issue has been reported, have you checked if all drivers are updated? I'll look around the net, maybe something related to the SDL2 library.

Hi there! Great to see you and that you are  thriving and still in the game!

I've been away for some time in terms of computers, so my question is: How do you make sure that all of your drivers are up-to-date? Do you know any user-friendly way? What is your approach?  Also, do you know any game that uses the  same SDL libraries that I could test in terms of Sound with my Bluetooth devices? And last question: Is it possible to play around with latency / buffers / or even  (de-)compression techniques in certain files of Soulash?

All the best

Wolfgang

You can try using Device Manager https://www.onmsft.com/how-to/how-to-update-drivers-on-windows-10 to update drivers, or check in the driver manager what hardware you have and get the latest drivers manually from official pages, for example, the CSR Bluetooth should be this one https://www.driverscape.com/download/csr-bluetooth-radio and Realtek maybe this one, but I'm not sure https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19336/realtek-high-definition-a...

I'm not sure about other games that use SDL 2, and I don't know about buffers or latency changes in the files.

Thanks. Nothing worked so far, but I'll keep trying.
