I love this so much. I initially thought “oh okay this is one of those “see how far you can go before you hit the ground things, okay” and died on my first attempt and decided to give it another go. Just when I was started to get the hang of it but got pretty close to the ground, I saw another bird and the game actually started. A few minutes later, space birds. Super peaceful game. The clean art style and calming music along with the chirps work so well together. My only complaint is that especially near the end it was kind of challenging to get the next bird. I kind of think the hitbox for the birds should grow over time, or maybe any bird should be able to collect a new one, not just the main bird. But yeah really nice submission, thanks for sharing.
