I'm really curious as to what's going on here, but the lack of screenshots, my inability to reliably navigate German menus (I speak some, not a lot though) and the server-based nature of the setup are a lot to get through to try it out. It seems there needs to be two players to start? But I can't really tell. Am I missing something or is this mandatory online multiplayer?

nice to see that you are interested in this years beta game (by a different team of students than last years elemates).
The game has german and english subtitles (currently disabled because of a game breaking bug but this will be fixed in the near future) and a german voice over.
We set out to make a cooperative game. So yes, two players are mandatory.
You can play either via directly connecting using an IP or by using the server browser.
