Nice work tackling such a heavy topic! You kinda throw us into an emotional story without any build up or introduction to the characters, so even though it IS an emotional story, we don't have any connection to the character. I think it's really important that you're tackling this and sharing these experiences with people (whether they are personally yours or someone else's story you're telling), but right now it kind of jumps from point-to-point with no transitions in between. What you have is lovely, but if you're wanting to build on it even more, making the story flow better would be a way to do that. Also, unfortunately, it didn't hit the 10-minute requirement for me, so adding in those additional pieces would help with that as well.
