Are 2d games allowed in this jam?

I'm asking because they weren't allowed in one of the previous jams.

Within the tutorial provided one of the features implemented used a 'vector2' which controls the x and y coordinates of any object. It also introduced a vector3 representation of the same code, so I assume both 2d and 3d is allowed just as long as one of the tutorial features are added into your project.
