i do have itch.io desktop app but i downloaded it manually

Probably, because like I said, I don't have this "Itch.io desktop" thingy, but all my Itcho.io games work just as intended unless the Game itself has bugs
try open the game manually in the game files, mine can't open using the desktop version so I just open it manually
