Nice take on the growth theme, the green blob might be too low of a threat at some point, I wondered what it does because I didn't notice any effect it has until I started chasing it again.
Yea, after some time that blobs almost harmless. If blob start to eat part of mushroom that connect cap and mushroom stem, then after some time mushroom will die and all mushroom that growth from this mushroom will be destroyed too.
