Haha, yep, behind the scenes the version you open/edit in Twine is stored as an html file, and exporting it just makes a 1:1 copy wherever you save it. That html file can be opened and edited in Twine to see everything.

Personally, I really like that feature as a learning tool, and easy access to the code allowed someone to write a really helpful QoL mod for my Twine game Escape from Kettuloch a little over a month ago.

And yes, I definitely enjoyed your game! I’ll be checking out v2 as soon as I can, haha.
