"Vice" is technically fine since, as Cursed said, it's British English and I do switch between American and British spellings more or less randomly due to my international upbringing.
That being said, I do use "vise" in all other cases where I'm referencing grip, so I guess it does count as a typo... fixed now! I guess Typo Hero gets to rise again... yay..?
