Overall:
That was a beautiful horror experience! ๐
The game looks really good. Nothing feels out of place. Player movement is fluid. The music was on point to set the tone for the atmosphere. That was a nice! ๐
Feedback (to go even further beyond!!!):
If I could add something to this game, I'd say "cursor help". When you first play the game, you see a hand icon whenever you point a door. As a player, it makes you believe that "an hand icon appears when pointing towards interactable objects"... but with this supposition, I went through all the rooms available at that point and I found nothing. ๐
I ended up going back to the starting room, I looked around a bit and then I tried to turn on the light even if there was no hand icon... and it worked. I was like "Wait. Really? ๐". After that, I was able to finish the game without any issue but I told you about this story because I wanted to show you this perspective.
To solve this, you should maybe either:
- Show an icon whenever you're pointing at an interactable object;
- Just never show any icon if that's a game design decision
Last word:
Overall, I had a great time and I'm amazed by the work you were able to put up for a school project. Congrats and keep up the good work! I hope you'll make it far! ๐
