Overall:

That was a beautiful horror experience! ๐Ÿ‘

The game looks really good. Nothing feels out of place. Player movement is fluid. The music was on point to set the tone for the atmosphere. That was a nice! ๐Ÿ‘

Feedback (to go even further beyond!!!):

If I could add something to this game, I'd say "cursor help". When you first play the game, you see a hand icon whenever you point a door. As a player, it makes you believe that "an hand icon appears when pointing towards interactable objects"... but with this supposition, I went through all the rooms available at that point and I found nothing. ๐Ÿ˜…

I ended up going back to the starting room, I looked around a bit and then I tried to turn on the light even if there was no hand icon... and it worked. I was like "Wait. Really? ๐Ÿ‘€". After that, I was able to finish the game without any issue but I told you about this story because I wanted to show you this perspective.

To solve this, you should maybe either:

  • Show an icon whenever you're pointing at an interactable object;
  • Just never show any icon if that's a game design decision

Last word:

Overall, I had a great time and I'm amazed by the work you were able to put up for a school project. Congrats and keep up the good work! I hope you'll make it far! ๐Ÿ˜
