Disable integer scaling to remove the border/bezel

I'm new to TIC-80, coming from a PICO-8 background. There are a lot of things that appeal to me about TIC-80, but the one thing that is seriously bothering me is the border/bezel around the game screen.

I saw on github that earlier this year, there was a new option to disable integer scaling in the Pro version - https://github.com/nesbox/TIC-80/issues/1818

However, I'm not seeing this option. Upon further re-reading of nesbox's later comments, it seems that the GUI option was later removed but somehow enabled/disabled automatically, depending on whether CRT mode was enabled. But no matter what, I can't seem to disable it (that's my goal, at least for testing purposes, to disable the scaling so that the game fills the screen 100%).

Is the setting hidden somewhere in a config file maybe? How do I disable scaling?

I am running the most recent Pro version, 1.0.2164.

Unfortunately you can't turn off the border at all, because the border is part of the TIC-80 screen, it has a resolution of 240x136px + the border we have is 256x144px. The only thing we could add is the Integer Screen Scaling option, which can reduce the border.

Thanks for the response! I get what you're saying. Now I am sad though :(

I love the system you've developed, this is the only thing I wish I could change.

I think in itch, if you have a html version, you can decrease the border size by going to the game’s edit
