It would be nice to be able to skip the dialogues and when you die, to return to the same level you were before.

And that's fair! If you've seen the game jam page, a lot of people agree with you, haha
I'm no longer working on the project, but I might update it to add better checkpoints alongside some bug fixes when the game jam is over!
