Hello! Here comes yet another test.

Various comments:

  1. I like how you superimposed the leaderboard on the menu.
  2. Haha, ‘Chicken Wang’. XD The famed Chinese champion. ;)
  3. It looks like the ‘CREDITS’ button does not work… :o
  4. The stirring cat is super cute. :) I am also fond of the ghosts.
  5. I feel the mechanic is a bit too simple an interpretation of the theme: there is a random choice for the tower, but that is apparently all. (Correct me if I am mistaken.)
By the way, I am not sure I understand the dice system: there are two values associated with each die; are they probabilities asssociated  with each tower/cat type?
  6. I was wondering whether Escape would pause the game or (suggest to) bring me back to the menu, but it did quit the game altogether; I think it may be useful to indicate this in the game page and/or comments here.
  7. The game seems very easy! Ironically, the two other tower defence games I tested in this game jam (Folclore and Roll or Die) were far too difficult; so, I do not blame you. XD In any case, this is mainly a question of balancing parameters here, so nothing serious.
There does not seem to be an increase in the enemies’ spawning frequency, for example.
  8. The game feels a bit unfinished, since the gameplay stays so, and I feel some sounds would have enhanced the experience.

My opinion is that the game looks cute, but is lacking in the gameplay and originality departments at the moment. I am sure it could be extended wisely. :)

(I hope I do not sound harsh; I am well aware that it is easy to run into the time limit and not to be able to set up everything you wanted, so maybe this happened to you! I am just judging the current state of the game.)

Do not hesitate to contradict me if you feel my review was unfair in any way. :)
