I didn't intend for that connection with Telo being represented by a black box, it was just a time thing. I figured I wouldn't really have time to do animation and a black box sliding around looks better than a single frame of a person sliding around, but now I kinda want to figure out how to keep that metaphor in a more polished version of the game!

Oh nice, I'm so glad I brought up the black box thing then! You never know how people will interpret things. Game jams are sort of the perfect place for using neat metaphors like that for things that are just place holders due to time constraints. I definitely think if you expanded the game you could make it a real visual element reflecting how the character personally see's themselves.
