Also a thing:
A certain oculu scarf (or similar name) had the description that it would unraveal and end the magic hocuspocus of infinite areas.
hoiwever, despite having it as a (not actively usable) key item in the inventory, I couldnt feel and see nany difference when going back to a certain infinite grove area.

could only trade the scarf for something else.

that was.... disappointing that it didnt live up to its description :-/

(+1)

The item does turn certain areas into "non-infinite" ones, but you might not have run into them, btw, did you manage to get all 4 (5) of the endings? Also, the khapri and darkside area are in development, the game is technically finished and I plan on adding further content in expansions, which are being worked on but who knows when i'll get to release them, due to IRL work, this game is just a side project (has always been!)

Ending?
Cant say I have seen any yet.
I referred to the grove south of the frost area, wasnt it supposed to be infinite?
(Like it still looped botom exit to top entrance while wearing the scarf)

I dont know exactly what is left to do?

from the frost village I opened the northern shortcut to the start area.
beat the guy in the frost village.

got the aquatic thing and therefor got the 2 freebies from the desert labyrinth area.

hm, cant exactly remember else to mention here, jsut that I think I have done all I can.
in the frost village, I got some key "for the graveyard" but no ide where that is and what for.
cant find a place to use it.

As said, not such where there is stuff left to do.

Nevermind, I havent been to the ocean folks yet.

But honestly in a way, the entrance to there was way more hidden than other stuff before.

like generally speaking you had obvious "locks" and obvious "keys" spread around the game.
so once you got the key, you knew "Ah, there was a fitting key at XXX, lets go there".

which here, seemed the same with the blocks in the desert. which only hid story irrelevant loot.

wouldnt have thought of that the aquathing also had a second place to use, like spwning a guy in a certain place which you were told about once or twice EONS ago by some random guy in a labyrinth.

I totally had forgottent hat stuff and only remembered cause I finally went out of my way to go to the inventory and read the description of the aqua thing.

you know, only my opinion, it would have been better if the brother had been there at the beach since the beginning and be like "yo, I could ship you to X for a fee but sadly the ocean wont allow that. if only we had the aqua thingie".

so I would have the guy i my mind as some unsolved thing and would have more likely remembered to go there again :-)

just my random rant, anyways I found it and am not having almost all my attacks resisted there, with certain frogs twice draining me, taking more than half my hp, if I am unlucky :-)

Yeah I see what you mean, I can consider adding the NPC there beforehand so people aren't too lost, but the relic itself points you there in a way, now that you've found the way to progress the game is gonna get much more open ended and have many more "cryptic" puzzles like that which refer to dialogue and other stuff you might have found. Also, eternal chalice does have a function if you play the classes with summons, its mostly useful for them, but if you are playing solo you can sell it for a lot of gold.

yeah, I made it off the exile island by now.

Not sure if I missed something but on the balista fight before leaving, I didnt really have much choice right?
like., before the fight the guy told me I had like 3 choices:
help his guys defeat the enemies and support them, go destroy the ballista or conquer the ballista so they can use it against the enemy
which might prove difficult.

I personally would have preferred the last option, however I didnt really see much wa to get there since there was only a ballista-destruction-switch there.

Oh, and by the way, in the ocean area, Lavos (I mean cretus ;-)) was harsh! :O
When I first got there, I could barely defeat the minions before him and hi tons of spells he casts in ne round easily wiped me.

well after like 4-5 level ups and not to mention buying new weapons and armor, I finally beat him :-)

for now will go through the sewers on the new island and see whats there, maybe some (partially very old) unsolved things might come to fruiting there.
