This issue should be fixed in beta 7! It's coming out either later today or tomorrow!
Thanks, that's good to know! I ended up restarting anyway. My building and farming management was trash the first go around, which always happens on your first attempt for this genre of game. Just downloaded the update, excited to try it! 👍
