In my opinion I like the first Strive game better than the second. There is just something about the second that does not sit well with me, and feels kind of empty. I know the game isn't finished, but when I played the first Strive it wasn't either. Though at the end of the first game it left a bit of a hole. I felt there could have been so much more to it, and so much to expand upon. Though with Strive conquest taking you all the way from left field to the parking lot of the fast food joit across town as far as story goes. That was a bit of a shock. IDK if a little effort was made to give a little more polish to the game, or maybe writing to catch the player. Still I am glad to see someone trying to revive the original Strive. Please do us die hard fans of the original game a favor, and put some image packs in with the mod. That was a bit lazy on the original creator I might add. Looking at the blank images left the game flat. Now I do agree with ARC on one point. What you laid out as a summery seemed just like a whole new game all together. Taking a rework to a whole new level. Not that I mind, but it gets very close to legal disputes. Still can't wait until your beta hits the streets.

Screenshots from the game will appear after we finish the bugfix on engine 3.5 because it allowed us a better setting, so they have not appeared yet.

Apart from this thread, I have the same feeling about Strive Conquest, so I decided that we will end the Conquest version and we will start seriously with Power.

As for the percentage of what we did, I think we already have over 50%.

There are a few mechanics that we want to refine and rethink how we will publish it, because because it contains so many changes, we can not make it easy to install mod and ankmairdor says that it is better not to throw it as a mod that will overwrite files, so we have a dilemma because of the mechanics that we made are compatible with 3.5 but not with the earlier ones.

And if we throw the whole game, not everyone will be tempted to download 7.1 Gb, of which 6 are the same graphics.

Here is an idea to make it easier for the player to download, install, and play. Prepackage the mod+game already modded and ready to play in a zip. This saves from having the player to mod it themselves, and run the risk of running into issues. Then include inside the zip links to the image packs to be used with the mod. This will allow the player to pick and choose which they wish to download. This will allow you to lower the initial file size. Mind you most players are not entirely scared of downloading 6 or 7 gigs for something they wish to play. This also depends on if the site the download is uploaded is clean and easy to use. Ex mega, google, etc. Just some suggestions to give you more options. Personally I would rather just download the whole thing in one go, and get to playing as quickly as possible. So looking forward to the end result.

Quick question if I may ask. Is there any way you could post maybe a timeline. Something to give us an idea on progress, milestones, and estimated time of release. I am not asking you to set a deadline, and then maybe run into trouble and not be able to meet it. Just asking for a ballpark time frame so we have an idea of when to possibly expect the mod/game to drop. Also maybe some progress updates couldn't hurt. I know that Patreon has been giving creators, and subscribers a bit of an issue lately. Ever thought about using some kind of social media to gather your fans together in one place, and have a place to post things about the mod? Just a couple thoughts to maybe help things along. Also do you have a name for your mod/game yet? Something we can call it, or search for if you stop updating here.
