Well, this was fun to play!
I really liked this. It does have a huge potential. Mainly, I enjoyed the lighting and sound design, it truly set the mood for the rest of the game.
My personal suggestion would be to go smaller in terms of creating the environment. For the first time, you should definitely focus more on the story and characters as well as mechanics. You nailed the sound design and everything else. Just need to put everything together and make it work.
