yeah, uh.......shockingly, i dont know where the recipe book is in the tutorial, sooooooo, im kind of lost XD
There isn't one in the tutorial, tho i should add one now that i think about it, just press the E key and gate to next area should open, :3

Actually, you can get it as a random drop from enemies, or just buy one from a trader, their stock randomizes, :3
