Never tested the game on linux. Windows version should check if the required font is installed and tell the player to install it. Instaling the "SourceCodePro" font should hopefuly fix that (It is in the Fonts folder in the root directory)
Sorry for the late reply, I already had that font in my fc-list (I tried to put it in .fonts and update the cache like you're saying too for good measure).
Honestly, can't even guess what went wrong. As I said, there is a check that shows a message and quits the game if the font is not installed, so the font is either not loading properly or there is something else wrong. As I said, I have very little experience with linux.
