I definitely could have explained it better at that part. The grab button will suspend a thrown block in the air, but you can't be near any blocks when the button is pressed (you'll just grab that new block instead). Also, it's on a bit of a delay due to the animation, so it's better to suspend immediately after throwing. Definitely could use some polish though.
