So, back again and so sorry to bring up the same problem. You were right the last time I did save within files 1-5, which are used for your save starts to help players reach where they used to be.

I started over, saving on Files 10 and 11, 11 just as a back up. When I started the game again today, the save states were just completely deleted. I might have just misunderstood your reply, when saying it's for returning players. Do the saves get deleted every time the game turns off?

I meant that the save files are there so that returning players do not have to start all the way from the beginning if they played an older version of the game. Save files created in a previous version will cause all sorts of unforeseen issues.

So, you can either start a fresh save file or use the included files to start at a point closer to where you last left off (in your old save file).

Alternatively, my patrons have access to a developer room with cheats and skips to get you even closer to the point you were before without any compatibility issues.

So what wound up happening to my other save files, because the game didn't update last night?

i’m not sure what could have happened to them. I just know that rpg maker doesnt like older save files and acts weird when you try to add them in.

Thank you for the reply, I think now it might be my WinRAR to open the games. I tried with a completely different game last night and the same thing happened. I've never had this issue with games before, but now I have it with two.
