The statue appears not in the room where you reactivate the power and receive the key, but rather at the end of the hallway on the right hand side of the map. Its sort of dark and there's rubble everywhere, so it's possible that you didn't notice it appear, but it should be there.
download the saves here first. Then find the game’s folder. (Should be under Steam/steamapps/common) There should be a “save” folder there if you have save data. Just overwrite the folder with the new one and boot up the game.
I have no plans for a Crimson Veil sequel. I have no solid plans for what to do after this project is wrapped up exactly, but I’ll worry about that once I get closer to it’s release.

Yes, with each update there are things I adjust under the hood and I can’t account for every player’s interactions with things, which is why I provide pre-made saves as a separate to quickly catch players up to the newest content. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Because the information on the quest log (and picture gallery) are updated upon starting a new game. The variables that allow a quest to progress can be updated, allowing you to continue in most cases, but the quest log is a feature outside of RPG Maker that has been added and can’t be manually refreshed to include updated information.
Yes, it has to do with using an older save file. Speaking with Genevieve and Cassie update the quest variables that allow you to progress. You will need to revert to an older save file or download the pre-made ones in order to continue.
The diadem gives you immunity to the curse status. If you wear any of the other equipment without it, it will curse you. I would need to see what you have equipped to see what the problem is.
Thanks for confirming! I figured that it would, but despite me changing the listing settings, it won’t allow me to list it as Steam Deck compatible for whatever reason
Game will remain free, promise. You can however, add it to your library on Steam now! I recommend doing so soon, seeing as there’s been a lot of censorship of nsfw games on all platforms lately.
