I was asking about other games because this was starting to sound like a problem on your PC, and if that was the case, maybe this had happened with other games as well, but if you played other versions, then this is even more confusing. Maybe something went wrong with the version I uploaded here at itch.io? Here is another link:

Thank you for all your help, I realize this may be somewhat frustrating. I'm going to try this out. In the meantime, may I ask if there's any way to make the game window larger?

Yes, you can make the window bigger. If you play around with the F5 and F6 keys, you should be able find an option you like. Also, "ALT+Enter" can toggle fullscreen in most programs, including my game.
