Very fun game! To anyone struggling - crossbow is your friend. Try a build focusing on giving it as much fire rate and ammo as possible, as well as adding projectiles. Makes it into a sort of shotgun crossbow that is highly effective!
Personally, I found the opposite even easier-- focus on giving it as much damage as possible and dumping fire rate/reload and let the magic daggers, scythes, and Hina's clone clean up for you.
