I liked this one! Cute chickens and eggs are my thing.
I feel like this kind of game is very difficult to balance for both new and experienced players, but from what I've played, this feels fairly well executed in that regard. New players are likely to hit financial hurdles eventually, and experienced players are likely to feel like that experience will let them push further.
It might be helpful to keep the tax time countdown available on the shop screen or at least allow returning back to the summary to double check (I found myself only remembering to look after I'd clicked through into the shop).
Good work on bundling your deps. I understand that you've been working toward improving compatibility with older glibc versions, so kudos for that effort too!
