Good news on the HP thing! Exact damage numbers are being introduced in 0.20, for both heals and damage. Enemy health bars I have a tentative plan for, but that's probably 0.21.
I'm glad you're enjoying the writing, it's really nice to hear. Someday I'll go back and update/revamp the opening; comparing it to my latest writing feels like a night and day difference in quality. The banter in particular...
Ashley and Sam are both goofballs, though I think Sam is probably the more genuinely lighthearted of the two. Ashley is better at clapping back though.
