Oh definitely, this resonates with me. A year ago I started development on my game and the first two months went really good, I had a good routine and the progress was very noticeable. But as soon as my college lectures started again, I began working less and less on it, and by the time it was exam period - I barely even touched the game. Then came various life things and as of this moment, it has been 8 months since I last worked on it. As much as I hate to admit it, I needed to set my priorities straight and sadly, the game had to tank.

I'm starting to settle however, lately I've found enough time for gaming so it's not like I don't have the time anymore, I just need to reignite that spark again - I did burn myself out.
