Okay, so like, how do I explain my feelings???
As I progressed through this wonderful illustration book I felt feelings of nostalgia, bittersweet moments, excitement because I could relate to some of them, yearning to be able to do the same things, a short feeling of loneliness from them during one scene, amazement at how the siblings were able to work together, and happy to see that they're working together and caring for one another. Like, I couldn't stop smiling as I went through each of these lovely amazing illustration and I could just feel the emotions from those illustration.
And my god, the music??? It pairs so wonderfully with the drawings/illustration giving me a music where I can happily reminisce over my past or making me smile as I look through the siblings life knowing that even though their parents are far away they still live on happily.
AND WHEN THE BEGINNING AND ENDING FINALLY CAME I WAS LIKE "Oh!! OHHHH!! The siblings were narrating their life to their parents so they wouldn't miss out on them--!!!" I WAS NEARLY SOBBING BECAUSE HOW PRECIOUS IT WAS AND I CAN'T STOP BUT FEEL HAPPY AT HOW PROUD THE PARENTS MUST BE!!
