Def a few jumpscares, AND moments where we think there might be a jumpscare kinda get us ready but deliver in a nice manner.
Keep a nice puzzle and search feature in the game makes it a bit more interesting.
The ambiance is big too, make it spooky scary add nice sounds and creepy music here and there (like you did)
