started a new game, got the tour, got in my house but as soon as i get in the bath it says "Take a bath?" even when im already in the bath and a yes no prompt. Both options keep me in the bath on an infinite loop and if i push X i lose the ability to answer the prompt even and can only open the menu with X. no other button does anything. Im stuck in the bath after 2 minutes of playing with no way to escape. help.

im able to replicate it. any time i enter the bath after talking to GAART for the first time i get stuck. Im on the screen that shows her in the bath and i get the prompt "take a bath? (yes/no)" clicking yes retriggers the bath scene and says "ahh that feels great!" and clicking no just removes the dialogue boxes until you press any button again then the dialogue reappears.

One thing you can do if you ever get a CG that won't disappear is go to inventory, key items, travel sphere. Once you activate it, take one step to the left and walk up 4 times. There will be a mirror in front of you that will close any lingering CGs when you interact with it. Return to the center of the screen to go back afterwards.
