Glad to share the tutorial - GMS2 is a great place to get into 2D games, I've found it really quick to learn compared to some of the more overwhelming platforms to start on (eg Unity). Yoyo Games made it free when they removed the lifetime licenses (last year sometime?) but you still need to buy a license to create executables. So it's kind of a catch 22...
